Biography

British babe Jemima Rooper knew from a very early age she wanted to be an actor and she was willing to do what it took to achieve that. With a mother who was a TV journalist, she grew up around TV sets and fell in love with performing. At the age of nine she wrote “I want to act” on her bed with a lipstick. Her mom told her she should be a doctor or lawyer. When that didn’t change her mind, she told Jemima that she needed an agent to be an actor. No problem. At the ripe old age of nine, she started writing to agents and eventually landed one. At the age of 12, she made her screen debut in the movie The Higher Mortals (1993) then a few years later made her TV debut with a recurring spot on the show The Famous Five. Since then, she has gone on to appear in more than 50 movies and TV series. In the US, she is most well-known for her part in the hit movie The Black Dahlia (2006).

In The Black Dahlia we see Jemima strip down to just her panties and make out with Mia Kirshner in an old timey stag film.
